Public Art Development

Norton Edwards has served as the sales and media director for DUMBO Arts Festival since 2011. Developing strategies for online and social, directing and producing all print and digital media channels, and conceiving, selling, and activating all corporate sponsor integrations have been its charge.

Public Art Production

Norton Edwards has been the sole producer of large-scale culture in Anita’s Way at One Bryant Park since its inception. From live fire performances with Flambeaux Fire and AHZ Concepts, to innovative theatrical galas with Chashama, to the tactical precision and creative engineering of immense international sculpture projects with Times Square Alliance, the space is a hub for innovative work and will be growing. Also, with ties to Two Trees Cultural Affairs in Brooklyn, we have also served as able handlers and creative builders of significant public art installations.

Public Marketing Production

Norton Edwards has been in every role across the production and experiential marketing spectrum. Called on for day-of site and stage management, or long-lead to create immersive and measurable brand experiences, all is possible. Recent projects include Fashion’s Night Out and Fashion Week partnerships with Vogue, Ford, and Nexxus; NYNJ Super Bowl activations with MirrorNYC and Dannon Oikos; and local market development with Bank of America.

Private Hospitality and Executive Support

Norton Edwards has succeeded in collaborating with out-of-market agencies when focusing on NYC experiences, and inserting local flavor to out-of-market clients. Services range from digital technology and document creation to presentation content and executive conference services to private dining [with a flair for designing in unique NYC real estate without gilding the lily].

Public Technology Initiatives

Norton Edwards has a fantastic partner in AT&T New York. With their team and a small halo of partners in public affairs, industrial design, and scale production, 2013 saw the rollout of the first significant major-market solar mobile device solution: StreetCharge. NE was responsible for site selection and contracting, product development and logistics, installation and maintenance, and brand ambassadors.

Norton Edwards has partnered with leaders in their fields to elevate the experiences of hackathons, annual meetings, and training events. Recent partners and clients include the MTA, NYU-Poly, ChallengePost, and Knoll Furniture.

Norton Edwards began operations in 2012 to fill a void: clients seeking nimble technical and creative services that help big organizations and brands think locally, maneuver daunting logistics and relationships, and keep the intersection of public/private and online/offline in balance.
